New this year are 30 new completely redesigned rods and and all feature a split grip handle design. The split grip is finished with a unique flat sides fighting butt which provides ergonomic comfort when tucked under the arm or pressed against the side of your arm for leverage.

When you start fishing slightly larger lures, especially around more cover where you may need a little more power, this rod is a great choice for all styles and sizes of crankbaits. It's a great choice for fishing 1/2-ounce Traps & Spots with the versatility to cover a lot of water and manage large fish. Fish this rod over grass, around brush and sawgrass with little fear of losing fish to the cover. It has a surprising amount of power for such a subtle, soft-action rod.

For years, many manufacturers have pushed fiberglass rods for fishing crankbaits, claiming graphite rods are too stiff and react too fast. That’s partly true because fiberglass is softer and much slower reacting, , but we have gone to great lengths to design the soft, slow flex into these rods while still maintaining the sensitivity and lightweight advantage of graphite. Material is only one part of the formula, design is another, and in the case of our crankbait rods, may be the most important. These are specialty casting rods, designed exclusively for crankbaits. We took all of the necessary elements required to make a rod that will fish a crankbait correctly… a soft, more moderate action that’s soft enough to let the lures to work properly and allow the fish to inhale the bait, yet is very light, responsive and sensitive. You gain all of the advantages of graphite with a nice soft action rod that’s a lot lighter than fiberglass and far less tiring to cast over the course of a long day.

The rods feature sculpted cork grips which are finished with high grade cork and cork composite material. The reel seats are all Fuji ACS and the guides are Fuji Aluminum Oxide.
